Ndebe Group (Pty) Ltd, reg number: 2019/059674/07, has a rich history rooted in the heart of Alice, where we began with Nguni cattle farming. Over the years, we have expanded our expertise to include a wide range of agricultural and landscape services. Our commitment to quality, integrity, and excellence drives us to continually innovate and meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Phumelele Kwayimani
I am Phumelele Kwayimani, the founder of the Ndebe Group. I have always had a deep connection with the outdoors and livestock farming. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, I learned the value of hard work and business acumen from a young age. My affinity for the bush and animals led me to pursue a career in horticulture, which further deepened my love for fauna and flora. Today, I am known for my dedication and passion for Nguni cattle.

Our Journey
These are the milestones that have shaped Ndebe Group (Pty) Ltd from its inception to the present day.
2016
Humble Beginnings
We begin our journey in Alice with a focus on Nguni cattle farming, laying the foundation for our future endeavors. Our Nguni are purchased from Gledsmuir Nguni Stud in East London.
2018 - 2019
We Experienced Hardships
We lost 18 animals due to a persistent drought that forced us out of the area. We never gave up, never looked back and the fact that we were farming with Ngunis was a game changer. We could have lost it all.
2019 - 2020
Becoming the Main Event
When my sister left her job, we teamed up to start an Events Material Hire business. We provide everything you need to host an incredible event including stretch tents, pole tents, mobile toilets, chairs, linen, pots and a stage. This was the birth of Kwayi Tent Services.
2021
Repurposing Assets
We joined Qonce Truck and Bakkie Association. The 4-ton truck we used to deliver tents was now also delivering building materials for the clients of Stutt Group, Build it, Cashbuild and many other stores that sell building materials in Qonce.
2022
Gaining Momentum
We signed our very first formal contract with Cashbuild to deliver building materials to their customers in the following regions: Amatole, Buffalo City, Ngqushwa Municipality, Raymond Mhlaba district and so on.
2024
Turning over a New Leaf
The goods transportation business, exposed us to tree-felling and wood supply business, and recently we partnered with Ngwenduna Projects who has been in the wood business for more than two decades. They bring-in clientele, experience, and machinery.

A Return to Goat Farming
Earlier this year, I took a decision to return to farming goats with my father after a decade of being inactive. I’m thrilled to be back with him, and this time I’ll be more involved in the day to day operations.

Formation of Ndebe Group (Pty) Ltd
We have officially registered as Ndebe Group (Pty) Ltd, with our services now including all of the above as well as landscape machinery training and consultancy.
